One of our core values is honoring the wood we select, respecting its journey from forest to finished piece. We aim to craft as many pieces as possible from each tree, capturing its unique grain and story in every product. By using every part of the wood thoughtfully and purposefully, we minimize waste and allow each tree’s character to shine in multiple creations, from charcuterie boards to furniture accents.
Our commitment goes beyond crafting products; we trace each piece back to its roots, sharing the story of where it grew, the natural elements it encountered, and how it came to be. In doing so, we celebrate the natural beauty and history of every tree, preserving it as a cherished part of your home.
Our production process emphasizes thoughtful design and environmental responsibility. We focus on reducing materials used whenever possible, incorporating traditional, time-honored techniques, and selecting materials that have a minimal environmental impact.
Materials
Resin
While sometimes a necessary product in our process to help stabilize elements like live edges with bark or to fill material gaps, we aim to minimize our use of resin. Whenever possible, we choose more environmentally-friendly options, such as EcoPoxy, rather than conventional resins. EcoPoxy’s bio-based formula reduces our environmental impact, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship that respects natural materials.
Packaging
When packaging our woodcrafts for shipping, we prioritize paper products wherever possible. For instance, instead of packing peanuts or bubble wrap, we use compressed paper to pad item corners during shipment. Our goal is to minimize plastic use in ways that are practical and environmentally friendly, reducing our impact without compromising protection.
